Staying connected

VCU_ALUMNI_WILLIAMS_JamesWelcome back, alumni!

The mission of VCU Alumni and its alumni constituent organizations is to organize alumni to serve one another and their alma mater. To achieve this mission, VCU Alumni strives to reach out to all alumni, engage them and keep them connected by building on the strong foundation established by our past and present alumni organizations and leaders.

Whether your relationship with VCU began at the Medical College of Virginia, the Richmond Professional Institute, on the Monroe Park Campus or MCV Campus or at, VCU Qatar, your participation is vital in our efforts to support and strengthen the university. We hope you will join us in celebrating our heritage and in sharing the excitement of VCU’s bright future.

VCU Alumni is led by committed alumni volunteers serving on the Board of Governors.

VCU Alumni also includes an equally dedicated cadre of alumni constituent organizations representing academic, geographic and shared interests, offering opportunities for outreach and engagement for VCU alumni nationwide. All of these constituent organizations are partners in the dynamic life of VCU and all are engaged in advancing VCU by celebrating the pride and diverse heritage of our university. You can choose to affiliate with one or more of them.

VCU Alumni is a dues-paying organization that offers a full spectrum of benefits and services. Many of these benefits are Web-based so active, dues-paying members worldwide can enjoy them. For example, our members enjoy the most robust online experience of all alumni and can fully explore and utilize the Alumni Directory and our Online Journals Program, among other things. Dues are vital to our success and ability to provide alumni and student initiatives.

Please visit the Robertson Alumni House, 924 W. Franklin St., or the MCV Alumni House and Paul A. Gross Conference Center, 1016 E. Clay St., to reminisce and share your thoughts as we work together to enhance the VCU experience for all of our alumni and friends in Richmond, the U.S. and throughout the world.

I hope you will become an active member of VCU Alumni and get fully engaged with your alma mater. Together, we are #RamProud.

Yours for VCU,

Jim Williams (B.S.'84/GPA; M.S.'96/GPA)
