Investiture Celebration Dinner, October 2023

In 2023, VCU hosted the first investiture celebration since 2018. Since then, 78 faculty members have been awarded endowed professorship and chair positions thanks to VCU’s generous donors. Donors and endowed faculty gathered Oct. 5, 2023, at the Altria Theater, where newly invested faculty received medallions in recognition of their endowed positions. VCU President Michael Rao, Ph.D., and VCU Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Jay Davenport, CFRE, gave opening remarks.
