Orlando ELEVATE Tour
VCU Alumni is embarking on its first international tour, and we’re coming to Orlando, Florida, Jan. 21-25.
The tour puts our new strategic plan, ELEVATE (Expanding Leadership, Enrichment and Volunteerism for Alumni Through Engagement), in motion and brings new opportunities and programming to elevate your alumni experience. VCU Alumni Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
Join your fellow VCU alumni as we give back to the Orlando community and honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We will serve alongside community members to clean up the Parramore neighborhood. Please wear comfortable shoes. Cleanup materials provided. Registrants receive a VCU Alumni volunteer T-shirt, so please select a shirt size when you sign up.

Family Day at the Sea Life Orlando Aquarium
Wear your VCU gear and spend the day at the aquarium with your family. Ticket price includes a behind-the-scenes-experience guided tour. Pick up your tickets 10:30-11 a.m. at the aquarium from Office of Alumni Relations staff. The privately guided tour starts at 12:15 p.m.

Multi-industry Networking Mixer
Network with fellow alumni who work in multiple industries. You never know what conversation might lead to new business opportunities. Are you a tech company owner looking to renovate your office? You could meet someone from a construction company who needs a web developer. Ticket includes one drink and heavy hor d’oeuvres.

Alumni Emeriti Society Luncheon
Alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago from VCU, MCV or RPI are invited to enjoy lunch on the veranda at The Tap Room at Dubsdread. Share your favorite memories, learn how to stay connected to your alma mater and give your feedback on how the Office of Alumni Relations can enhance your alumni experience.

Mixology Cocktail Class
Join alumni for a hands-on cocktail class. For an exclusive rate of $20 through VCU alumni relations, you’ll taste and learn how to create five specialty cocktails including Southside, French 75, Sazerac, Summer Blush and Passion Le Poire. Take home recipes for tasty drinks and dine on appetizers while mixing and mingling with other graduates from the area. Experience valued at $75.
