Celebrating the Joseph and Leona Feher Endowed Scholarship
Join the College of Engineering to celebrate the new Joseph and Leona Feher Endowed Scholarship for Distinction in Biomedical Engineering. Reconnect with your engineering family, meet the first recipient of the distinguished scholarship and enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
Can’t make it? Share your well-wishes for Joseph Feher or Woon Chow, who established the scholarship, on the registration form below.
Woon Chow, M.D., Ph.D. (B.S.’03, B.S.’03, M.D.’11, Ph.D.’11, H.S.’15, M.S.H.A.’24), a distinguished alumnus and respected physician, established this scholarship to make a profound impact on the lives of aspiring medical professionals. Joseph J. Feher, Ph.D., VCU professor emeritus of physiology and biophysics, is a notable figure in biomedical engineering and physiology. He is best known for his book, “Quantitative Human Physiology: An Introduction,” which is widely used in undergraduate bioengineering courses. His work has significantly contributed to engineering education by providing a more analytical approach to understanding human physiology.
