VCU Trauma Center’s Shining Knight Gala

Amid growing concern about the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), VCU Health’s priority is the health and safety of each member of our Trauma Center family and the community. To that end, the 2020 Shining Knight Gala, originally scheduled for May 16, has been canceled.

If you would like to support the trauma center or its injury and violence prevention programs in the absence of the Shining Knight Gala, please make a gift online today. Your continued support is greatly appreciated during this challenging time.

Questions? Contact Amanda Van Thunen, event planner, at amanda.vanthunen@vcuhealth.org.

When: 6-11 p.m. Saturday, May 16
Where: Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 N. Third St., Richmond, VA 23219

VCU Trauma Center’s Shining Knight Gala is the annual fundraising event that highlights one patient’s story of triumph and honors the caregivers who worked to save that patient’s life. Supporting the Shining Knight Gala through sponsorships, individual ticket purchases or the Shining Knight Honor Wall (see below), funds vitally important injury and violence prevention programs in central Virginia.
