History M.A. Program 25th Anniversary Celebration

At 11 a.m. Sept. 21, join retired professor John Kneebone, Ph.D., for a walking tour exploring the ever-changing Monroe Park Campus with attention to the architectural and academic histories of the landscape. The tour will begin at the VCU Department of History, 811 S. Cathedral Place, Richmond, VA 23284.

At 12:30 p.m., gather on the third floor of the James Branch Cabell Library for lunch and a special program featuring:

  • Professor George Munro, Ph.D., VCU Department of History.
  • Michael Lynch (M.A.’01/H&S), senior historian at U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center and assistant professor at U.S. Army War College.
  • Kerry Dahm (B.A.’09/H&S; M.A.’13/H&S), editorial and research assistant, Thomas Jefferson Papers: Retirement Series, Thomas Jefferson Foundation.
  • Peighton Young, a VCU College of Humanities and Sciences student in the Class of 2020.
