VCU Student Life walking tour
When: Noon-1:30 Friday, April 19
Where: Meet at the Welcome Center, 1111 W. Broad St., Richmond, VA 23220
We’ll tour James Branch Cabell Library, Shafer Court Dining Center and the University Student Commons. See what student life is like today and learn about plans for VCU’s future. Tour will be held rain or shine.
VCUarts walking tour
When: 2-3:30 p.m. Friday, April 19
Where: Meet at James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Ave., Richmond, VA 23220
Tour the Special Collections at Cabell Library and the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts. Special Collections will have rare art books and selections from the comic art collection on view. At the Singleton Center, performing arts students will be preparing for opening night of Disney’s “Descendants: The Musical.” You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the sets and costumes. Tour will be held rain or shine.
